Heart Forgiveness and Health Power Forgiveness

A while back, Dr. Charles L. Foster, a chiropractor from Rutland, VT posted a comment on this blog about forgiveness with a link back to his article entitled health power forgiveness.

It is one of the best descriptions of how forgiveness actually works I have read.

Here is the response I wrote about his article.

“There is one exception that I take with the content, however. Mental health professionals talk about the issues. Yes. Talking about these issues does not dissolve the energetic connections to the painful event or trauma that needs to be forgiven.

The process of forgiveness does not take place within the intellectual realm. It takes place deeper than the mind and subconscious mind within the energy or the “field”.

How do I know this? Because this is what we do all the time. Talking is essential to understand what to do. Talking is doing – it is not being.

Lao Tzu said, “The way to do is to be.”

I first read this is the Witter Bynner translation of “The Way of Life According to Lao Tzu” at age 17. And it has always stuck with me.

We are not human “doings”, we are human “beings”. We focus on the “being” part not the “human” part and that’s where forgiveness takes place.

Thanks for the comment and the great article.”

People are starting to get it.
